Education Before Execution · Faith & FuturES University
AP1 stands for Apprenticeship 1. It is the first of two intentional courses in the Faith & FuturES University system. The word apprenticeship was chosen carefully, and there is real reason behind it.
An apprentice carpenter does not memorize cuts. They develop an eye for wood over time. An apprentice blacksmith does not study blueprints. They build the relationship between heat, metal, and hammer until their hands know it. The apprenticeship structure exists because some forms of competence cannot be transferred through information delivery. They have to be built through guided practice. That is exactly what AP1 is. You are not being given a strategy. You are being formed into someone who can hold a strategy when one comes.
Mentorship can be one conversation, one season, or one piece of advice. It is real, and it is valuable, but it is open-ended by design. Apprenticeship is structured, time-bound, hands-on, and tied to a defined outcome. Twelve weeks, a curriculum, weekly live sessions, paper trading, journaling, and a final project. The walking-alongside is the relationship. The structured work is the craft. Both have to be present for it to be apprenticeship. Mentorship pours guidance into someone. Apprenticeship builds someone.
Most education companies want you to buy first and figure out if it is right for you later. That is backwards. If you are going to invest your time, your focus, and eventually your money into learning futures day trading, you should know exactly what kind of learning environment you are walking into before any of that happens.
Faith & FuturES University is a futures day trading education company built on one core conviction: the foundation matters more than the strategy. Before you can trade well, you have to understand what you are trading, why the market moves the way it does, and just as importantly, who you are as a person stepping into that environment. That kind of understanding takes time, honesty, and a certain kind of teacher.
This is not a place that will hand you a strategy and send you out the door. This is a place where the inner work and the outer skill are built together, on purpose, from the start. Every course, every piece of free content, every reflection prompt is designed to give you that real foundation.
Week 0 is the first step. It is free because the goal is for you to experience this kind of teaching firsthand before you decide anything else. No pressure. No pitch. Just a real look at what building a real foundation actually feels like.
"Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding."
Faith & FuturES University was built by someone who believes in Christ, and that shapes everything about how this curriculum is designed. Not as a decoration. Not as a selling point. As a genuine conviction that who you are on the inside determines how you show up at the chart.
The way you handle fear, the way you respond to a loss, the stories you tell yourself about money and what you deserve, all of that comes from somewhere deeper than a trading setup. This curriculum addresses that directly, because skipping it is one of the biggest reasons people fail to become consistent traders even after they learn the mechanics.
Every course at Faith & FuturES University asks the same foundational question: who are you when trading is removed from the equation? That question is not rhetorical. It shapes everything else you will learn here.
Scriptural wisdom around discipline, stewardship, patience, and self-awareness runs through every week of the curriculum. Not as content to be memorized, but as a lens through which to understand yourself as a trader.
Fear, overconfidence, impatience, and self-sabotage show up at the chart before any technical skill does. This curriculum names those things directly and gives you the tools to work through them, not around them.
Nobody should have to take anyone's word for it. Week 0 exists so you can experience the quality of this education firsthand, see how it is taught, feel what the learning environment is like, and decide for yourself whether this is the right fit. There is no pressure attached to any of it.
Week 0 gives you a real introduction to the instructor, how the material is taught, and why this curriculum was built the way it was. The teaching style, the values, the honesty about what this course will and will not do for you, all of it is visible from the very beginning.
The tone, the pace, and the depth of the material are all represented in Week 0. If it resonates with you, you will know. If it is not your style, you will know that too, and that is perfectly okay. Better to find out in the free course than three weeks into a paid one.
A 12-week course is a real commitment. Going in with clear expectations means you spend that time actually building something instead of spending the first few weeks figuring out whether this was what you thought it would be.
Future paid cohorts will require a real financial investment. Week 0 lets you make that decision based on actual experience rather than a sales page alone. That is how it should be.
A lot of people are curious about futures day trading but have no idea where to start or whether it is even something they want to pursue. Week 0 is a real answer to that curiosity. Not a pitch. An experience you can actually learn from.
Faith & FuturES University was built on the belief that the foundation matters more than the strategy. That belief starts here, with a free course that asks nothing of you except your willingness to show up and see what is inside.
Week 0 is a standalone free course. It is its own complete experience designed to orient you to the world of futures day trading and introduce you to the learning framework used across all course content here.
Week 0 is designed to be completed at your own pace. There are no live session requirements, no deadlines, and no pressure to move faster than feels right. Most people work through it over a few sittings across several days.
Completing Week 0 does not affect your eligibility for any future course or cohort. It is not a requirement. It is a resource that is available to you right now, whenever you are ready.
Week 0 does not teach trading strategies or setups. It teaches you how to begin understanding the market you are entering and how to start thinking like someone who can eventually trade it well.
Start wherever makes the most sense for you right now. There is no wrong door.
Week 0 is free, self-paced, and the best way to get a real feel for how I teach before you apply. It is not required, but it is the smartest first step for most people. You will need to create a free Thinkific account to access the course. Once you finish, the application is right there if you want it.
Start Week 0 FreeIf you already know AP1 is for you and you do not need Week 0 to make that call, the application is open right now. Applications close Friday May 15 at 11:59PM ET. Spots are small.
Skip Ahead to ApplyFaith & FuturES is a newsletter about becoming. Not arriving. Not having it figured out. The in-between part of the journey that most people skip over. You will not find market analysis or trade recaps here. You will find faith, fear, growth, and the inner side of trading from someone who is still in the middle of becoming a trader herself.
Charris is a Christian, homeschooling mother and futures day trader who built Faith & FuturES University because she kept looking for something that started at the actual beginning and could not find it. She was not looking for a course that handed her a strategy before she understood the market, or content that skipped the psychological foundation because it was harder to teach. She wanted something real, built from the ground up, by someone who was genuinely on the journey.
She teaches from that place. Not from a highlight reel and not with the goal of making futures day trading look easy. She teaches with honesty about what it takes, faith about what is possible, and a genuine belief that the foundation matters more than anything else. Week 0 is the best introduction to how and why she teaches the way she does.
